CLE Program Manager
The New York State Bar Association, a nonprofit professional association based in Albany, is currently seeking a full time CLE Program Manager to focus on Law Practice Management initiatives including programs relative to marketing, finance, technology, risk management and insurance. The position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and administration of Continuing Legal Education programs for attorneys, including live programs, webcasts, and video replays for attorneys. Duties also include preparing and coordinating all aspects of the post-program follow up, the collection, production, and distribution of course materials, and monitoring and reviewing budget performance.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in program development and event management is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Incumbent must be proficient in the Microsoft suite of Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, website editing and with digital media platforms. In addition, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail and ability to work independently is required. Travel is required.

Social Media Strategist
The New York State Bar Association, a nonprofit professional association based in Albany, is currently seeking a full time Social Media Strategist. The position is responsible for implementing and managing strategies for the Association’s social media presence. The Social Media Strategist will serve as a key player in the development of the Association’s social media strategy, produce and post content, and monitor all relevant social media sites. In addition, this position will provide support and training for the social media activities of the Association’s sections and committees, and all other areas of NYSBA operations.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, or related field, along with three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing the content for a content heavy web site serving a diverse constituency are required. Proficiency in relevant web authoring tools including HTML, XML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Pro DC, GIF animation, scripting languages such as JavaScript, multimedia technologies, and data base management is required. The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines, and the ability to work in a team environment with members of volunteer leadership. Some travel may be required.

Content and Communications Specialist
The New York State Bar Association, a nonprofit professional association based in Albany, is seeking a full-time writer to serve as a Content and Communications Specialist.
The successful candidate would research and write communications materials including news releases, articles, speeches, and website copy. The incumbent will also coordinate and manage the production and dissemination of print, on-line, audio/video materials, as well as handle inquiries from news media outlets and the public.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success writing, editing, and producing content. A Bachelor’s degree with a major in Journalism, Communications, English or related field is required. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple priorities, be detail oriented, well organized, and effectively communicate with NYSBA team members. Project management skills are a must.

Data Specialist
The New York State Bar Association, a non-profit professional organization based in Albany, NY, is seeking a Data Specialist. The position is responsible for effectively collecting, recording, inputting and retrieving large amounts of information. This includes managing the preparation of reports for colleagues and maintaining accurate company data in the Association Management Software while ensuring it properly syncs with the Association’s website. The Data Specialist will also ensure the Association’s data management protocols are in compliance with regulatory standards, as well as deliver reports regarding data management issues.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in math, statistics or related field, or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 to 5 years proven CRM experience. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of Office applications with advanced experience in Excel is required. Experience in Salesforce and/or Fonteva is strongly preferred. Familiarity with CE21, Higher Logic communities, HubSpot, Apsona, PowerBI, Tableau, and NetSuite is a plus. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and must be a highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills.
